Which classic Japanese motorcycle enthusiast could not want one of these pretty, crisp sounding little twins? An illustrious machine with an illustrious heritage. This was the start of a whole line of quarter litre Yamaha two stroke twins culminating in the TZ125 water-cooled racer in the 1980's. They were made from 1966 to 1971, in a 90cc version for their home market, and the 100cc version for the US and Europe. This delightful little two stroke twin was quite comfortably better than any comparable model from that period. Highly prized by collectors, and with good reason.
